Brussels team supports Ukraine Relief Efforts
ANDREWS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION BRUSSELS TEAM SUPPORTS UKRAINE RELIEF EFFORTS
For credit union staff members stationed on military installations in Europe, the war in Ukraine continues to hit close to home.
At the USAG Benelux branch location in Brussels, Andrews Federal Credit Union employees were actively involved in supporting humanitarian relief efforts.
The credit union’s Andrews Shares Foundation has donated more than $5,000 worth of supplies, including first aid items and a variety of hygiene supplies. Credit union employees also contributed their time at Brussels Aid for Ukraine, volunteering to unbox, pack and load relief kits.
Andrews Federal and its Brussels employees are consistently participating in Ukraine relief efforts through Brussels Aid for Ukraine. “Our hearts are with the people of Ukraine, particularly with the families and young children who have been forced to flee their home,” said Rachel Rust, Vice President of European Operations at Andrews Federal Credit Union. “Credit unions are committed to serving and supporting families - it’s part of the credit union difference. We appreciate the commitment of our employees who gave their time and energy to provide relief and resources for Ukrainian families.”
