Andrews Federal & AFFN: Serving Those Who Serve Us

AFFN cover

At Andrews Federal Credit Union, we remain focused on serving and supporting those who serve.

Whether our military service members are stationed at Joint Base Andrews or across the Atlantic Ocean on European military installations, we are committed to providing the financial services and resources that enable our members to manage their money and improve their financial wellbeing.

Military life can be unpredictable and it is our goal to remove stress from members’ lives, so they can focus on their service and their loved ones, not on how to access their funds.

We partner with Armed Forces Financial Network (AFFN) to provide members with convenient access to cash when they are serving overseas. AFFN was created in 1985 at the request of the U.S. Army to provide access to funds through ATMs and point-of-sale terminals.

Recently, we had the honor of sharing our commitment to serving our members through a special testimonial video we made in partnership with AFFN. In the video, Andrews Federal team members, including our CEO Ken Orgeron, reflect on the importance of our work with AFFN and how it empowers us to better serve our military community.

Through AFFN, we provide members access to more than 800,000 ATMs and 2.3 million retail point-of-service locations, so they can have access and peace of mind wherever the military takes them.

Our Purpose is Service

We are proud of our collaboration with AFFN because it is part of our larger overall mission to support the needs of our members, including many who serve in the United States Armed Forces.

For more than 75 years, since our founding at Joint Base Andrews, our credit union has actively sought ways to be of service to military service members, veterans and their families.

As we continue to serve our military communities in the future, we are honored to have AFFN as part of our team in providing members the resources they need to succeed.
