Qualifications to Earn Rewards 

To earn your monthly rewards, you must have met all the following qualifications for the month. 

  • View the MONTHLY QUALIFICATION AND STATEMENT CYCLES.
  • At least 15 debit card purchases. ATM withdrawals are not included.
  • At least one direct deposit or ACH transaction
  • Be enrolled in and agree to eStatements 

All your transactions and activities must have been processed before the end of the month to count toward your qualifying transactions. If you don’t meet these qualifications for the month, — your account is still free and you’ll still earn our base rate (0.05% APY*). To place a freeze on your debit card, log into digital banking and go to 'Card Services', and then go to 'Card Management', and go to Enable/Disable Card.

When you open a Share Certificate, you can open it with a zero balance. You then have 10 days to fund your account. Click here for more details about the Share Certificate funding process. 

You can send money from another institution to Andrews Federal by logging into your account with the other institution and submitting a request there. 1. Kasasa Cash Checking: Must be a member of the credit union to open any deposit account. Membership eligibility required. To earn the 6.00% APY on balances up to $25,000, account qualifications must be met during the monthly cycle. Balances of $25,000.01 and over will earn 0.50% APY if all account qualifications are met during the monthly cycle. No minimum deposit or minimum balance is required to open or maintain the account. A monthly ACH debit/credit, 15 debit card purchases per month (ATM withdrawals are not included), and enrollment in online banking and e-statements are required for this account. Visit andrewsfcu.org/kasasa for full details of qualifications, rates, rewards, fees, account specifics and restrictions. Limit of one account type per member. There are no recurring monthly maintenance charges or fees to open or close this account. A Kasasa Cash or Kasasa Cash Back account is required to have a Kasasa Saver account. To automate transfer of checking account rewards for automatic savings, a linked Kasasa Saver account is required. This account is not to be used for commercial purposes. If the account is closed, you will forfeit any rewards that have not been credited to your account. 2. Early access to direct deposit funds depends on timing of payer’s submission of deposits. We generally post such deposits on the day they are received which may be up to one day earlier than the payer’s scheduled payment date.
