Dear Valued Member,

On behalf of the Board of Directors, leadership team, and staff of Andrews Federal Credit Union, welcome. We are honored to have you as a member of the Andrews Federal family and look forward to serving your financial needs for many years to come.

As we continue the integration of HUD Federal Credit Union into Andrews Federal, we want to provide important information about branch access and the services available during this transition. Our priority is to make the process as seamless and convenient as possible while ensuring you continue to have reliable access to your accounts and the support you expect.

Because HUD Federal and Andrews Federal currently operate on separate core banking systems, access to certain services in some of our branch locations will be temporarily limited until the system conversion is complete. During this period, members will continue to receive full-service banking at our Headquarters Branch located at 5711 Allentown Road, Suitland, Maryland. Once the integration is complete, you will have access to the full suite of Andrews Federal products and services, including our expanded branch network, digital banking platform, and enhanced member benefits. At that time, you will be able to conduct your banking seamlessly across all Andrews Federal branches and digital channels.

During the transition, you may access your accounts and banking services through the following options:

  • Interactive Teller Machine (ITM): A new ITM will soon be available at HUD Federal’s current location, 2415 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia, providing convenient access to everyday banking services, including cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, and balance inquiries.
  • Select Andrews Federal Branches: Our branches in Fort Washington, Upper Marlboro, Henson Ridge, and Manchester Lakes are available to assist with many of your banking needs during the transition.
  • Headquarters Branch: Our full-service Headquarters Branch at 5711 Allentown Road, Suitland, Maryland, offers comprehensive teller services, complete account servicing, and personalized financial guidance.
  • CO-OP Shared Branch Network: You also have access to thousands of participating credit union branches and surcharge-free ATMs nationwide. To locate a participating branch, text your ZIP Code to 91989 or visit co-opsharedbranch.org.

As part of the integration, branch operations at the former HUD Federal location at 451 7th Street SW, Washington, DC, will close on June 29, 2026 at 12pm. This transition supports the orderly migration of systems, equipment, and operations while minimizing disruption to members. For your continued convenience, the ATM at this location will remain available through September 30, 2026, before the facility is fully vacated.

We will continue to keep you informed throughout the integration and will share updates as additional services become available. For the latest information, including important milestones and frequently asked questions, please visit our Merger Hub at andrewsfcu.org/merger.

Sincerely,

Kenneth Orgeron
