We're In This Together, Part One

Hear how Andrews Federal is responding to the coronavirus from our CEO, Jim Hayes.

We are supporting our members during this unsettled time.

We are following guidelines provided by the Center for Disease Control. We’ve also activated our pandemic response plan, and we’re taking a variety of other measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus:

  • Our branch locations receive additional cleaning and sanitation supplies, and we are sanitizing the branches frequently.

  • We have limited access to our branch lobby’s through prescheduled appointments while providing full-service at our drive-thru lanes.
  • And, to safeguard the health and well-being of our employees, we have as many employees working remotely as possible, which at this time is most of the credit union.

As your trusted financial partner, we’d like to remind you of the many ways to access your Andrews Federal accounts:

  • You can use online banking and our new mobile app to transfer money, pay bills, and deposit checks.
  • You have access to over 30,000 no-fee ATMs.
  • You can use your Andrews credit or debit card using your phone’s digital wallet technology.
  • And please beware of scams. We will never call you and ask for your personal information or your username and password.

For our members experiencing financial hardship due to the coronavirus, we have options available for you as well.

  • Our Relief Assistance Loan can provide up to $5,000 with no payment for the first 90 days at 0% APR, and a low 6% APR for the remainder of the term.
  • We are waiving the fee for our skip a pay program for eligible members.
  • And if you have a mortgage or Home Equity loan with us, you may be able to defer your payments. Please reach out to us for more information.
  • And lastly, our partners at GreenPath are available to help you with free financial counseling.

Rest assured that Andrews Federal is financially secure and your deposits remain Federally insured up to $250,000 through the National Credit Union Administration. On behalf of all the Andrews Federal employees, we wish you safe passage through these difficult times. And please know that we will be here to serve you.
