We’re aware of a new fraud attempt going out on pink postcards being mailed to Andrews Federal Credit Union members. The postcard states that there is an issue with your mortgage and to call a toll-free number. This communication is not from Andrews Federal. If you receive any communications that appears to be from Andrews Federal Credit Union asking for sensitive account information – IT IS A SCAM! CREDIT UNION RECOGNIZED FOR SUPPORT OF SCOUTING ENDEAVORS

Andrews most recently provided a $1,000 donation to assist with two key events for the troop.

ANDREWS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION RECOGNIZED FOR SUPPORT OF SCOUTING ENDEAVORS


Andrews Federal Credit Union was recently recognized by SHAPE Scout Troop 325. The troop showed their appreciation for Andrews Federal’s ongoing support, donations and event sponsorships.

Andrews most recently provided a $1,000 donation to assist with two key events for the troop:

  • Participation in the Normandy Jamboree, a scouting event that takes place once every three years and brings together Scouts from across Europe
  • Scout summer camp in Switzerland.

“These events provide a tremendous opportunity for Scouts to further develop as young adults and to prepare for a bright future,” said Ashlee Blankenship, Overseas Regional and Sales Manager for Andrews Federal Credit Union. “In the States, Andrews Federal provides summer camp scholarships for promising young people, and we’re honored to do the same for our Scout troop here in Europe.”

Andrews Federal’s Chièvres branch representatives attended a ceremony of appreciation and Chievres branch employee Maxine Mickle accepted a certificate “in recognition of outstanding service to youth” on behalf of the credit union.
