ANDREWS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION COO ROBINSON APPOINTED TO MARYLAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Damita Robinson, Chief Operating Officer for Andrews Federal Credit Union, was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. Robinson will serve in the role of treasurer for the 2023-24 year.
The Andrews Federal leadership team values active involvement in communities where the credit union has a presence. “Our corporate headquarters and a high percentage of our workforce is located in Maryland,” said Ken Orgeron, President and CEO of Andrews Federal Credit Union. “Damita’s leadership on the Maryland Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will further empower us to advocate for consumers, small businesses and the Maryland communities we serve.”
The Maryland Chamber of Commerce is a statewide business advocacy organization with a focus on issues that directly impact Maryland businesses. The Chamber focuses on impacting policies that directly affect Maryland businesses. Through Robinson’s role with the Chamber, she will continue to utilize the skills and knowledge she has attained throughout her career at Andrews Federal. In particular, Robinson’s experience in talent development and in not-for-profit leadership will support her efforts to provide strategic guidance to the Chamber as they continue working to develop a more robust and well-prepared business community.
