ANDREWS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION CEO KEN ORGERON SELECTED AS HONORARY COMMANDER FOR JOINT BASE ANDREWS
Ken Orgeron, President and CEO of Andrews Federal Credit Union, was recently named an honorary commander for Joint Base Andrews. Orgeron was selected as an honorary commander based on the credit union’s long-standing commitment to the military service members stationed at Joint Base Andrews.
Being invited to participate in the honorary commander program underscores the long-term commitment and special relationship between Andrews Federal Credit Union and Joint Base Andrews. This year, Andrews Federal celebrated 75 years of service since its founding at Joint Base Andrews. “Andrews Federal has supported Joint Base Andrews from the beginning,” Orgeron said. “We look forward to continuing our long-standing partnership with the base and with our military service members for many years to come.”
In addition to Orgeron’s role as honorary commander, the credit union actively participates in and sponsors Joint Base Andrews programming throughout the year. During 2022, Col. Todd Randolph, 316th Wing and installation commander, officially recognized Orgeron and the Andrews Federal team with a challenge coin in appreciation of the credit union’s long-standing support of the Joint Base Andrews Air and Space Expo.
