ALDREDGE & MASTERSON PROMOTED AT ANDREWS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

James Aldredge was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Deposit Strategy. Aldredge has been an employee at Andrews Federal for more than 29 years. During his tenure at the credit union, he has accumulated vast institutional knowledge through his work in multiple departments, including deposit services, information technology and payment services.

Most recently, Aldredge served as senior director of support service and deposit strategy. Chief Retail Officer Marco Alvarez noted the valuable work Aldredge has taken on to support the credit union’s strong growth. “James has taken on an increasingly strategic role in developing deposit products and services that are attractive to members, and in making Andrews Federal more competitive,” Alvarez said. “In his new role, James will continue to champion our deposit growth, and ensure Andrews is a top leader in deposit product pricing, as well as the development of new deposit products.”

John Masterson was promoted to Vice President of Retail Delivery. Masterson joined Andrews Federal in 2020 as director of branch operations. During his time at the credit union, Masterson has focused on enhancing retail performance and strengthening branch teams. Masterson has also worked to increase flexibility by modernizing and enhancing technology resources available in the credit union’s branch locations. Alvarez highlighted the credit union’s retail successes during Masterson’s tenure. “In the short time John has been with our credit union, Andrews Federal has seen strong gains in lead generation and overall member satisfaction,” Alvarez said. “In his new role, John will continue to elevate the already solid skillset of our stateside retail leaders, and will take on additional leadership responsibilities as we focus on expanding our credit union’s reach.”

Masterson’s prior experience includes retail and operations leadership in the credit union industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Rhode Island.
