Important Information: New Phishing Alert
Andrews Federal has become aware of a “phishing” attempt whereby a fraudulent email from the NCUA was sent to members. This email states that the member’s account has been fraudulently used by someone and will be closed within 48 hours unless account verification is received. The email also provides a link for members to respond.
Neither Andrews Federal nor the NCUA will ever send an e-mail that includes a request for account information including your credit card, your personal identification number (PIN) or any other sensitive personal information. Andrews Federal will ONLY send communications regarding your account via the mail.
