Compensation and Benefits

Andrews Federal offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive employee benefits package.  Outlined below, are a number of benefits open to our employees. 

Health Insurance covers medical, dental, vision and prescription expenses.  Regular part-time employees are also eligible to receive this benefit.

Flexible Benefit Plan pays health insurance premiums, dependent care and unreimbursed medical expenses on a pre-tax basis.

Retirement Program includes a generous 401(k) plan whereby Andrews Federal will match the employee's contributions ($1.00 for each $1.00) up to 6% of eligible salary.  We offer free access to professional Financial Advisors and a wide range of mutual funds to allow employees to customize their own investment portfolio.  Regular part-time employees are also eligible to participate in this program.

Short-term and Long-term Disability Programs provide employees with a payment of 66 2/3% of their salary. 

Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Program provides employees with life insurance in an amount equal to two times their annual salary up to $400,000. Full or partial benefits are paid in the event of non-fatal injuries. These plans are funded entirely by Andrews Federal.

Tuition Reimbursement Program provides payment for eligible courses leading to an undergraduate and/or graduate degree.

Holiday Recognition offered on most federally-recognized paid holidays.

Employee Membership Benefits such as discounts on loans, cashier checks and more.  These discounts are also extended to part-time employees.

Logistical Support is offered to civilian employees in Europe under USAREUR (U.S. Army Europe).
